Great Belt Fixed Link, East Bridge

The Great Belt Fixed Link is the fixed link between the Danish islands of Zealand and Funen. It consists of two bridges and a tunnel. The suspension bridge, known as the East Bridge, has the world's third longest main span (5,328 ft), and the longest outside of Asia. It was designed by the Danish architectural firm Dissing+Weitling. The two main pylons are 833 feet tall. For comparison, the 72-story, Trump World Tower in New York is 866 feet tall.
