Now, I'll use dCal to substitute some materials. I'll start with the previous, lighter version with parts removed.
Substituted 1/16" birch plywood for the top plate.
Substituted 1/16" birch plywood for the bottom plate.
Substituted 1/16" birch plywood for the side plates and ADDED 4 more side plates for a total of 6. The extra pieces will be used as diagonal braces to stiffen the frame.
Substituted nylon bolts for steel bolts.
