Next, lets make the H4 Alien 680mm frame a bit lighter by removing some parts.
Removed 4 of the motor mount plates because I'm building a quadcopter, not an X8.
Removed 16 M3 x 6mm steel bolts used for the 4 motor mount plates I removed.
Removed the battery plate because I can use a piece of foam and run the battery straps across the bottom plate.
Removed 4 12mm spacers used with the battery plate.
Removed 8 M3 x 6mm steel bolts used with the battery plate.
Removed 4 motor arm clamps because I only need to snap the arms into their open position. I don't need clamps for the closed position. I can use a velcro strap around the whole ship when the arms are closed.
Removed 16 M3 x 6mm steel bolts w/shank used with the 4 motor arm clamps.
Removed the FC cover plate.
Removed 4 12mm spacers used with the FC cover plate.
Removed 8 M3 x 6mm steel bolts used with the FC cover plate.
